Lead Math Teacher
We are looking for a dynamic Lead Math Teacher to drive academic excellence in our Mathematics department. In addition to classroom instruction, you will mentor fellow teachers and ensure our curriculum meets the highest standards of rigor.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Secondary Education.
3-5+ years of classroom teaching experience with a track record of high student growth.
State teaching credential in Mathematics.
Expertise in educational tech (e.g., Graphing calculators, Desmos, LMS platforms).
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality math instruction (Algebra through Calculus/Statistics).
Design and audit the math curriculum to ensure alignment with state/national standards.
Mentor junior faculty through peer observations and feedback loops.
Analyze student assessment data to identify and bridge learning gaps.
Host parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and intervention strategies.
